Once we have agreed the sale of your property to a qualified buyer, we will issue sales memorandums to your solicitors and the buyer’s solicitor, so that they can arrange for the transfer of the legal ownership of the property to the buyer’s name. Every sale is slightly different, but in general your solicitor will manage the following:
It is vital that you choose the right solicitor because choosing the wrong one (often the cheapest one) may result in your sale crashing and falling apart and most likely, it will cost you a lot more money in the long run. We strongly recommend that you use a local solicitors firm, that are members of the Law Society rather than a national conveyancing firm, where you just become a reference number.
We have worked with the following four firms over the years and happily recommend them. Please feel free to contact them directly and ask them to provide you with a quote for their services. Please note that we do not solicit any commissions from the firms listed below.
