Nick’s Journey
In 2019, Nick lost his mother to Angiosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. What followed was a long and incredibly difficult journey for Nick and his family. Despite strength, resilience and the best possible care, she sadly passed away surrounded by her loved ones.
Experiences like this stay with you. They change how you see the world, what matters most, and how you choose to live and work going forward. This moment has had a lasting impact on Nick and continues to influence the values that underpin Samuel Estates today.
Understanding Sarcoma
Sarcoma is a rare form of cancer that develops in the bones and soft tissues. Because it is less common, it often receives less awareness and funding than other cancers. This can make diagnosis, treatment and research more challenging for those affected.
Raising awareness is therefore incredibly important. The more people understand sarcoma, the better the chances of earlier diagnosis, improved treatment and stronger support for patients and families.
