Nicholas Samuel MNAEA MARLA

After taking over several agencies, Nick has grown Samuel Estates’s property portfolio and expanded the lettings part of our business into Central, East, and South East London. It is now an award-winning boutique agency with an increasing number of international customers.

Before Samuel Estates, Nick worked in a senior role within the IT Directorate for Post Office, overseeing change control and commercial input on the automation platform.

Nick is heavily involved in the local business community as a Director of the Merton Chamber of Commerce and also held the position as Chair of a Town Centre Partnership Board. Hobbies include tennis, personal fitness, paddle-boarding and Nick is a keen adventure traveller.

Operations Director

Paul Ahearn

Paul, originally from Zimbabwe, joined Samuel Estates in 2006, previously coming from an accounting background. Paul has worked hard to assist in growing and making Samuel Estates the success we are today.

Paul’s primary role is overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, covering lettings, sales and property management. His knowledge and understanding of the property market is second to none.

When he finds time to relax, he loves nothing more than going fly fishing in the country.

Head of Lettings

Ryan Chemaly

Ryan joined Samuel Estates in October 2015 as a Lettings Coordinator. In June 2018 he was promoted to Lettings Manager and has been loving every minute of it!

Walking into client’s homes and helping them achieve their rental objectives is great job satisfaction. He offers honest advice and takes a consultative approach to the rental market, understanding our client’s needs and mapping out a plan for success.

Outside of Samuel Estates Ryan is a new father and enjoys spending time with his family and watching sports.

Head of Property Management

Yohana Gabanes MARLA

Yohana has worked as a property manager for Samuel Estates since October 2017, rising through the ranks to Senior Property Manager, Team Leader and, in 2022, to our Head of Property Management. She has extraordinary experience in different management roles during her 17-year career in catering and property. She strives to do right by her customers, from listening to their needs to going above and beyond in helping them achieve their goals. She has become highly recommended by her clients and professionals in the field, supporting her enthusiasm, client dedication and expertise.

Outside work, Yohana likes travelling, meeting with friends and spending time with her partner. She is also very passionate about decoration, so she spends many hours looking at decoration websites and planning the next change in her house.

Senior Property Manager

Chi-Huy Ha MARLA

Chi-Huy Ha has been a Property Manager with Samuel Estates since June 2018. Chi has a combined experience of 5 years working in the Estate Agency business and comes from an Accounting background.

His favourite part of his job is liaising with contractors to get issues sorted promptly. When Chi is not at work, he enjoys going to the theatre, concerts and eating plenty of chocolate!

Senior Property Manager

Stephen Streek MARLA

Stephen brings to Samuel Estates a wealth of knowledge from working as a property manager. He has spent over three decades excelling in the competitive landscape of residential letting establishing a reputation as a well-respected and innovative agent. His reputation is built on trust, straight-talking, transparency and good local knowledge.

When he has time to relax he likes nothing better than spending time fishing, skating wall climbing or attempting to ballroom dance which is difficult with two left feet.

Lettings Consultant

Stefano Basciu MARLA

Stefano Basciu is one of our Letting Consultants and joined the team in March 2018. Since he moved to London in 2006, he has worked in the hospitality sector climbing the managerial ladder up to restaurant general manager. He then made the jump to the estate industry, bringing his particular attention of the customer care into this business with his unique Italian character and passion.

His favourite aspect of working at Samuel Estates is the friendly approach combined with the high skill of every team member that is always there for help and support. Outside of work, Stefano enjoys binge-watching TV series on Netflix, dining out with his girlfriend and spending time home petting his beautiful cat Fiona.

Sales and Lettings Consultant

Daniel Jameau MNAEA

Daniel has been working with Samuel Estates since 2015. His typical day consists of following up on enquiries, arranging and carrying out viewings and pushing to obtain the best possible price for our clients. His role also involves keeping clients up to date with the market and progress of finding new tenants as well as uploading properties to the online portals.

Daniels favourite aspect of working for Samuel Estates is matching properties to the right applicant and seeing their face when they move into their dream home!

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys spending his free time with his girlfriend and friends and when he can; squeeze in some games on his Xbox.

Property Manager

Angela Bartiromo

Angela has worked for Samuel Estates since May 2011 coming from a fashion retail background, supervising staff and the daily runnings of the store.

She now works as part of our Property Management team, carrying out property inspections on all our managed properties.

Her favourite reason for working for Samuel Estates is working our positive team spirit. She loves creating a friendly face and atmosphere.

A typical day for Angela is getting out and checking properties and liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and keeping fit.

Sales Valuer & Marketing Consultant

Nick Price

Nick brings over 20 years of experience across residential and commercial property, with a career spanning land acquisition, estate agency, and asset management. He began his career with Countywide in 1998 before moving into commercial surveying with Janson’s & Partners (Colliers CRE), where he handled valuations, development sites, and negotiations on complex property deals.

He has since held senior roles at Gibbs Gillespie, Potter & Ford, and Gifto Properties, gaining extensive expertise in valuations, sales, lettings, land buying, and planning legislation. Known for building strong client relationships and delivering honest, informed advice, Nick combines his deep market knowledge with a personable, professional approach.

Outside of property, Nick is a keen fitness enthusiast with a background in leisure services.

Property Inspector

Tony Harrison

Tony is new to the team, originally with a career in sales and now coming from a twenty-five-year stint in the leisure industry. With various levels of management and hands-on working, much of his life has been spent in customer-facing roles.
He was persuaded to avoid retirement and to transition from shorts to long trousers to join Samuel Estates in managing the growing property portfolio ‘North of the river.’
Tony has always enjoyed an active lifestyle from squash in his formative years, to water-skiing and now wake-skating in his later years, enjoying the great outdoors as he gradually grows younger!
Property Manager

Suzanne Ball

Suzanne is a dedicated property manager with two years of experience in the industry. She brings a unique blend of skills from her background in nursing, which has shaped her ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and handle diverse challenges with care and professionalism.

What Suzanne loves most about property management is the variety—no two days are the same. She enjoys meeting new people, building strong relationships, and navigating the dynamic nature of the role.

Outside of work, Suzanne is a proud mum of three and a grandmother to one. She values quality time with her family and friends and enjoys exploring new experiences whenever she can.

Whitney Heathcote

Whitney recently moved to the UK from South Africa. She has been in the real estate industry since 2011 and has joined the property management team at Samuel Estates.

Whitney’s mantra is to ‘always go above and beyond’, as she strives to deliver an excellent service to all her clients. She has an outgoing personality, which helps to create significant and lasting relationships with her clients.

Whitney loves spending time with her family and friends, travelling, and exploring new things.

She is a foodie at heart and absolutely adores animals and wildlife.

Property Manager

Jade Moeller

Jade joined Samuel Estates in 2022 as a Property Manager. She comes from a management background with many years of experience in various roles within the property industry. She utilises her vast industry-knowledge within her role, ensuring that her clients (landlords and tenants alike) are happy and getting the excellent service they deserve.

She is highly organised and ensures all tasks are dealt with within a timely manner and provides continuous feedback to all parties. She takes pride in her excellent attention to detail and doesn’t rest until the job is done.

In her spare time, she is a mother to two beautiful young girls, who take up all her spare time, but she wouldn’t have it any other way! Her interests are party-planning and decorating and she enjoys baking and creating elaborate parties for her family.

Saturday Receptionist

Hassan Hussain

Hassan joined Samuel Estates in 2023, with a profound passion for property that he nurtured since a young age. Hassan is a people’s person and working on the front line, he consistently delivers an efficient, professional, and amiable experience to our esteemed clients.‌

Approaching each task with a dedicated spirit, Hassan continuously endeavours for excellence, infusing every interaction with enthusiasm and determination.

Beyond Samuel Estates, Hassan derives fulfilment from participating in team sports such as cricket, football, and basketball. When he is not out on the field, he is the gym embracing an active lifestyle.

Renewals Coordinator & Property Management Support

Luke Pegg

With over 6 years already under his belt in the industry, Luke has joined the Lettings teams as a Renewals Administrator. Having worked for Countrywide as an apprentice he worked his way up to Lettings and Renewals Negotiator. As a former Army Cadet, he has a keen eye for detail and process! Luke aims to make every customer experience as pleasant (and efficient!) as possible.

Outside of Samuel Estates, Luke enjoys following football, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.

Lettings Consultant

Amanda Lees

Amanda brings a wealth of customer service experience and a strong background in front-of-house management, having previously worked as Reception Manager at Nuffield Health Gym. She is passionate about delivering a warm, professional experience for every client and takes pride in clear communication and attention to detail – essential qualities in the fast-paced world of property.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys travelling and embracing new adventures. She also leads an active lifestyle and can often be found in the gym.

Trainee Lettings Consultant

Samira Molitor

Samira has a keen passion for property and is excited to build her career with Samuel Estates. With a strong background in customer service from her time at Specsavers, she brings exceptional attention to detail and a friendly, people-focused approach to her role.

After starting her apprenticeship immediately after completing her GCSEs, Samira gained valuable experience working within a team and connecting with clients, which remains one of her favorite aspects of the job.

Outside of work, Samira loves to travel, embracing new adventures and experiences, and enjoys spending time with friends both in London and across the globe.

Company Secretary

Janet Borrow LLB

Following her studies at the London School of Economics, Janet worked as a lawyer undertaking a wide range of commercial work in advising SMEs. Her role involved offering guidance on company commercial and employment matters; acquisitions; shareholder and partnership agreements terms and conditions & website compliance.

Janet is now the Samuel Estates Company Secretary. She works with the Directors on various legal matters, commercial negotiations and in our agency acquisition strategy.

Client Accounts Manager

Susanne Mathes

Susanne has been with Samuel Estates since 2016 and has worked in the industry for nearly a decade. A lawyer by training, she has responsibility for overseeing and administering the clients accounts. A fan of order and efficiency, she enjoys supporting her colleagues in the property management team and engaging with a wide variety of landlords, tenants and suppliers.

Outside of work, Susanne enjoys spending time with her family, swimming and catching up with friends.

Office Administrator

Connie Ahearn

Connie worked in a variety of roles before moving from Zimbabwe to the UK in 2006, including 19 years working in the Catering & Hospitality Industry.

As our Office Administrator, Connie is the central point of contact for client communication. She greets and assists clients and visitors and carry out general administrative duties.

Dealing with landlords, tenants and utility companies is often challenging, and no day is the same, so being bored is never an option.

Her top five values include honesty, flexibility, conscientiousness, to be compassionate and finally to have a sense of humour “to be able to laugh at one’s self and to turn a dark moment into sunshine”.

She enjoys spending time with my family and friends, baking, reading and taking my pooch for a walk – especially when the sun is shining.

Sales Consultant

Siné Pollard

Siné moved to the UK two years ago from Cape Town, South Africa. Coming from a Sales role she joined Samuel Estates with a hunger to strive. She is a people’s person at heart with a passion for making a positive impact.

She is driven by a constant desire to improve and excel. As an avid reader and perpetual learner, she finds inspiration in the written word and the pursuit of continuous growth. Known for infectious enthusiasm, she approaches every task with a genuine passion.

Outside of the office you will find her either in a coffee shop reading another romance novel or going for a jog in the park. She also enjoys spending time with her family cooking dinner for them.

Lettings Administrator

Adam Pagella

Adam joined Samuel Estates in April 2024, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his tenure at a well-known agency in Surrey. As our Lettings Administrator, Adam seamlessly oversees the entire lifecycle of tenancies, from offer acceptance to move-in, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for tenants and landlords.

With a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service, Adam finds great fulfilment in his role’s dynamic and varied nature. His dedication to excellence and his ability to navigate complex situations make him an invaluable asset to our team.

Beyond his professional endeavours, Adam treasures the moments spent with his young family, finding joy and inspiration in their company. An avid traveller, he embraces new cultures and experiences, constantly expanding his horizons.

Additionally, Adam is a true gastronome, always eager to explore the culinary delights of different cuisines.

Marcelle Viljoen

Marcelle has an extensive background spanning human resources, compliance, and management across various sectors, including maritime, manufacturing, transport, and education. Her comprehensive skill set and strong attention to detail ensure we meet our legal obligations seamlessly, supporting both tenants and landlords.

Known for her solution-focused approach and excellent communication, Marcelle brings a wealth of experience and a hands-on attitude to our team, making her an essential part of maintaining our high standards.

Outside of work, Marcelle enjoys exploring the outdoors and has a passion for continuous learning

Property Manager

Lise Discombe

Meet Lise, our new team member covering Devon properties! Lise brings a wealth of experience from the hospitality industry. Before joining us, she was a top-performing sales representative, dominating seven counties and South Wales and even clinching the title of top salesperson in the country. She also ran a successful gift shop and a bridal and balloon decorating business.

Lise is known for her caring nature, stellar organisational skills, and meticulous attention to detail. In her downtime, she loves gardening, reading, entertaining, and caravanning with her husband, Gary.
