The festive season is here!
Samuel Estates sponsors this year’s event and raises over £600 for Sarcoma UK
On Sunday 28th of November, Balham saw the return of the Christmas Lights switch-on event. An annual event that Samuel Estates sponsor every year. We were very lucky to have great weather this year with clear skies and no rain (just cold!).
The event is a chance for us to catch-up with our friends and neighbours and help to bring the community together. The event was sadly missed last year due to the pandemic so it was a great chance for us and ‘SAM’ to get back out there and spread some cheer as well as supporting Sarcoma UK ‘The bone & soft tissue cancer’ charity.

Great atmosphere, great entertainment with the participating schools, children and local Singers and of course the Mayor of Wandsworth & SAM our dog mascot turning the Christmas lights on.
Supporting Sarcoma UK in raising funds has been an absolute pleasure this year. They are a charity very close to our hearts and offer invaluable support to people who suffer from this terrible form of cancer. The generous community of Balham helped us raise over £600 which will make an enormous impact, raising awareness, funding ground-breaking research and helping anyone affected by sarcoma access personal support and expert information.
