Landlord pledge – helping to lead the initiative

We’re pleased to announce our involvement with the Landlord pledge set up by Wandsworth Council

As your estate agent, whether you’re buying or renting, we’re often your first port of call for everything you need to know. But our support goes beyond just finding you the right property. As part of this initiative, we’re working closely with Wandsworth Council to support buyers, tenants and landlords in knowing how, when and where to recycle household waste.

We all throw out a significant amount from your moving boxes immediately after your move to general day-to-day household waste. But by recycling where we can and disposing of household waste properly, we can make a huge difference, not only to the cleanliness of your neighbourhood but to the planet as a whole.

Litter and fly-tipping can bring several problems to an area, from pests to general unsightliness. Wandsworth Council works tirelessly to keep the borough’s streets clean. They clean our busy town centres up to five times a day, covering more than 400km of streets every week. By signing up for this initiative, we’re adding our support to keeping our local area cleaner for everyone. And we’re doing what we can to help you play your part, too, working closely with the council to provide landlords, tenants and buyers with waste disposal best practice guidelines and advice.

“Everyone wants to live in a cleaner, greener neighbourhood, but more than that, we’re all acutely aware of what a difference recycling can make to the broader environment. By signing up to the Landlord Pledge, we hope to work closely with our landlord, tenants and buyers to ensure everyone has the information they need to stay on top of their household waste.” – Nicholas Samuel, Managing Director Samuel Estates
