Sarcoma UK – Our Chosen Supported Charity

Sarcoma UK – Our Chosen Supported Charity

After losing his mum to sarcoma, our MD Nick is a passionate supporter of Sarcoma UK and the work they do. It’s this passion and personal connection that made selecting Sarcoma UK as our chosen charity an easy decision to make.

What is Sarcoma?

A sarcoma is a form of cancer that affects soft tissue and bone. It can often develop in tissues such as blood vessels, deep skin tissue, fat cells, muscle, nerves and fibrous tissue.

Who are Sarcoma UK?

Sarcoma UK is the only charity in the UK dedicated to raising fund and awareness for this extremely rare form of cancer.

Roger Wilson CBE set up the charity after suffering from sarcoma himself. His personal experience drove him to campaign and raise awareness for a type of cancer that is often not heard of and rarely understood.

What do Sarcoma UK do?

The charity works hard campaigning for better sarcoma treatments and helps support those affected by all forms of sarcoma.

Through their tireless work and effort, they help to:

  • Drive awareness of sarcoma cancer.
  • Find answers through funding sarcoma research.
  • Provide information and support to anyone affected by sarcoma cancer.
  • Campaign for better treatments and to improve standards of care.

Our Work with Sarcoma UK?

We look forward to working with Sarcoma UK to create more awareness, drive research and hopefully, make sure more people can beat this awful illness.
